WHY “RIGHT TO EDUCATION ACT” SHOULD BE ENFORCED??
Enforcement of any rule seems like the acts that were imposed during British rule before independence in INDIA.
But here I want to throw light on another aspect of R.T.E. act & its importance.
Our school is only 6 months old institute & it is very obvious for any new institute or organization to face tough times initially. Apart from all those complexities that we were facing right from top most management level to all the descending levels of the school hierarchy ,the difficult most part was to give instructions to K.G kids & our maids whom we used to call “DIDI”.
Though it was difficult for drivers, peons & watchmen also but not that difficult because most of them were educated up to middle or high school. But it was very hard to explain anything to those three
“DIDIS” not only for me but also for my teachers. Every now and then teachers used to come to me bringing complaints of didis.
Ohhhh…..!!!!!
Suppose if someone locks you in a dark room, you are screaming a loud but no one is there to listen you.. what would you feel?
Exactly..that was my condition, I felt to scream out but again the problem was they would not understand..
During first two months everything was happening for first time everyone was new to this system.. Actually there was not any system. We were gradually creating it & shaping everything like a potter. The whole system was new but our DIDIs were like new born babies who understands nothing but laugh or smile on every other thing.
For them it was difficult to shift from NIMARI ( local dialect) to HINDI or ENGLISH terminology. And for us it was hard to give up HINGLISH ( mixture of Hindi & English) & speak NIMARI.. Neither they understood pure HINDI & nor did we understood pure NIMARI. They would take a rough idea what we were trying to say.. sometimes they understood everything but not able to convey it to others. For me it became very difficult to convey a small little message to any teacher especially when that message was not meant for all.
At last we came to conclusion that we should have a teaching class for servant staff . Especially to those who don’t know to read & write, we will also teach them English terminology.
Since then it is almost 3 months over and now our didis are able to read & write HINDI & ENGLISH alphabets. They even try to take permissions in English & they also teach formation of alphabets to K.G students..
It seems tough times in giving instructions have gone since then..
They now at least understands almost everything but I still make them repeat any message in front of me before conveying it to teachers just to avoid miss-communication and to make sure that
every information from my cabin is conveyed in a good manner.
I'm also trying to teach them use of computer..but it will take long time but I hope I will do it...
Now I understood why Right To Education is so very important for
our society on the other hand. I hope every one understands it.

MOTHER NATURE
One chilly night of these winters when the whole nature went to sleep so early… I was working on my computers…It was too late so I decided to go to sleep. As I landed on my bed, I heard someone coughing.. It seemed that an old lady was coughing severely.. I thought grand mama in the neighborhood might be not well.. The very next morning I asked my neighbors what happened to grand mama?? Is everything alright? They told me she was not in the city.. She went to her daughter’s house in a nearby place.. I thought may be someone else is not well…
This night when I shelved all my work, I again heard that coughing sound…
Next day I asked my family members but they didn’t hear any such sound.
Neither my neighbors nor the watchmen of our colony hear something like that..
Now I was tensed… Thinking do ghosts exists..?? I covered myself in the blanket to avoid any type of such thoughts I started reading a spiritual book… But to my surprise …I again hear that sound.. This time coughing went too long and it was now growing severe…like any Asthmatic patient does..
I thought its enough now. Someone might be playing prank on me.. I got off my bed.. Opened the window.. The sound was coming from my garden side.. It was so clear and so near that I got scared once.. But collecting lots of guts I opened the door walked towards garden.. My heart was beating so fast that I could hear my own heart beats…
Oh….it was so scary……. And what I saw scared me even more.. I saw an old lady sitting on bench of the garden and coughing and coughing..
With lots of courage I put my shivering hands on her shoulder and asked politely “who are you grandmother?? Why don’t you take something for your well-being...”
She said in a shivering voice: “I AM YOUR MOTHER………”
I SAID “My mother?? What a joke??”
She said “I am mother of all of you… each and every one.. Humans, animals birds , plants. everyone looking at my questioning eyes. she continued saying… I am mother Mother-Nature..”
I asked her, “why you are coughing so much and why you are not audible and visible to all??”
She replied,” I am audible and visible to all.. But no one wants to listen me and look at my deteriorating face.. People with good heart and pure soul can only talk to me…”
I asked,” Why can’t you heal yourself?? How can I help you??”
She told,” Just make the people aware, all or some, about my degrading health.. You tell them about growing pollution, cutting trees, excess use of limited sources of energy… Control it by planting more and more trees and don’t cut them.. Use renewable source of energies fuel.. or find other alternatives. Keep your surroundings clean.. throw waste materials into dustbins…………
Only by making your society aware of these things you can help me…”
That night I promised her to help her.. The next morning I got up and realized that it was just a dream… But after giving it another thought I decided to keep my promise and for that reason I shared my experience with you…
Do you promise me to take care of degrading health of Mother Nature..??
If not then be ready to listen someone coughing in the nights out of your home………
